I've been realizing with increasing clarity the last two days how independent and responsible for myself I am as a college student now, and it is amazing.

I have classes M-Th, and three of the four look like they'll be cakesauce so far, maybe.. 20 hours combined work outside of class a week. The last one will probably surpass that by itself (a class meant for your second year, apparently - but I'm ready for the challenge!). In any case, this means I'll be retiring from TegakiE indefinitely and focusing more on submitting whatever is worthy from class and my own studies to this site. Incidentally, I guess that means cumulative TE submission is in order at some point or another.

At the moment one of the things I'm primarily trying to master is figure drawing. I can't say yet whether I'll mass sketches in photoshop or on a TE account I used briefly for that purpose maybe half a month ago. If the class I'm taking goes well enough maybe I'll even do this practice with charcoal.. it's too early to tell! Some people think that kind of stuff is interesting, I like head and hand sketches myself, so maybe I'll submit some of them? I feel like my gallery is.. becoming really inconsistent.


Other things:
I've been stepping up my reading - I've already read two books since arriving 9 days ago, with four more waiting under the bed.
I've taken a keen interest in personal development in the last month or two, but that reading I do online. ^Those are fantasy novels. ;d
I am an Illustration student.
